More efficient cleaning of oil and gas processing systems

SafeClean AS specializes in removing oil sludge and coatings from processing systems and equipment using a unique combination of chemicals and technology within a closed system. This method significantly reduces asset downtime and minimizes human exposure to hydrocarbons and chemicals.

How to Chemically Clean a Process System
A Clean-in-Place (CIP) unit pumps chemicals into the process system, circulating a water-chemical mixture in a closed loop. The CIP unit can heat the chemicals using a heating element or steam, enhancing their effectiveness. This combination of chemicals, temperature, and liquid circulation thoroughly cleans the system. The CIP unit also features a filter to remove dissolved solids.

Key advantages of SafeClean’s CIP unit:

Compact Design: Easily maneuverable in confined spaces on oil rigs and FPSOs, using a specially designed pallet jack.

NORSOK Z-015 Certification: Ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Proven Performance: Successfully used to circulate the oil train at Oseberg C for the first time in 2007

No entry and no human exposure to hazardous materials

Reduced downtime: Significantly reduced downtime

Reduced POB: SafeClean’s method and technology significantly reduces POB.

Chemical Cleaning Of Fire Water Systems

Fire water systems onboard oil platforms are crucial for maintaining optimal performance and safety. Over time, these systems can accumulate scale, corrosion, and biological growth, which impede water flow and reduce the effectiveness of firefighting efforts.

Importance of Chemical Cleaning for Fire Water Systems
Chemical cleaning ensures that fire water systems are free of obstructions and ready to deliver maximum pressure and volume when needed most. This process is vital for protecting both personnel and critical infrastructure from potential fire hazards.

Key Benefits:
Unobstructed Water Flow: Removes scale, corrosion, and biological growth to ensure optimal water flow.

Enhanced Firefighting Efficiency: Maintains the system's ability to deliver maximum pressure and volume.

Safety Assurance: Protects personnel and critical infrastructure by ensuring the system is ready for immediate use.

Preventative Maintenance: Regular chemical cleaning as a proactive measure to maintain system efficiency and safety
